Over 90 years of history and tradition have made Nazareth School, San Diego, the dynamic learning environment that it is today! As a school community – faculty, staff, students and parents – we celebrate the Core Values of the Sisters of Nazareth which drive our educational experiences. These values – respect, hospitality, love, justice, compassion and patience – influence everything we do at Nazareth School and have become for us “The Nazareth Way.”

Our 16-acre campus is adjacent to historic Mission Basilica San Diego de Alcala where we celebrate Mass weekly. Our Nazareth Community enjoy a campus that includes two playing fields, basketball/volleyball courts, science lab, computer lab, art room and two libraries as well as a beautiful all-purpose auditorium.

Our academic and co-curricular programs are an interactive process developing the students’ spiritual, intellectual, social and physical growth. Faculty, students and families work together to master and exceed national, state and local curriculum standards. Our academic programs combine differentiated methods of instruction with the use of technology. In our school community, the individual talents of students are nurtured while the needs of students are supported in a collaborative atmosphere. Through a challenging academic curriculum relevant to the needs and abilities of the students, the children are prepared for higher education and responsible citizenship with moral integrity in an ever-changing world.
