Santa Sophia Academy, which translates to Holy Wisdom, is nestled at the base of Mt. Helix in Casa de Oro, Spring Valley. We are honored to partner with parents in the education of their children in an atmosphere where Christ is the center of all we teach, do, and say in every subject and part of the day. The students, parents, and staff are a cohesive, collaborative, and caring community where every child is supported and encouraged to their best.

Our average class size is 24, and we have teacher’s aides in each room, supportive and involved parents, and dedicated, loving, and awesome credentialed teachers. Our students enjoy an extensive extracurricular program that includes league sports, fine arts, and a myriad of other offerings. And we are unique in that we teach a public speaking curriculum and extensive fine arts program within our school day. We boast an excellent and challenging curriculum that culminates with our eighth graders being accepted into the Catholic high school of their choice with honors and advanced placements and scholarships based on achievement.
