AXA Advisors awarded School of the Madeleine with a $5,000.00 grant. Along with the grant, they led volunteers in a school clean up day on November 10, 2017. One of our first grade parents, arranged for his company to consider our school for this generous grant and organized AXA Hearts in Action service event. The school clean up day was a huge success. There were a number of volunteers on campus from AXA, school parents, and alumni freshening things up around the school, cutting back the ice plant/ brush, weeding, sweeping, and cleaning along the fences on the field. It was truly a Hearts in Action service event and we are blessed to have a community of service centered families. This modeling of hearts in action showed our students how important it is to give back to their community and make it a better place.
