STA would like to thank the Arnold family for organizing a SHOES 4 KIDZ drive. Mrs. Arnold’s sister and brother-in-law have a non-profit that sponsors healthcare in orphanages in Tijuana and Bolivia. She is a social worker, he is a doctor at Kaiser, and they run the organization BRIDGES TO HEALING INTERNATIONAL. The nuns who run the orphanages made a specific request for shoes. Through the generosity of our STA families, 194 pairs of shoes were collected. These will be distributed to the orphans in Bolivia and Mexico, and to local Ukrainian refugees.
