Nazareth Students Celebrate Easter with Resurrection Eggs

The Kindergarten and Third Grade classes at Nazareth School shared the Easter story by making Resurrection Eggs. Inside each egg is an object that symbolizes a part of the Easter story. The first egg contains a piece of palm for Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem. Eggs 2-11 hold items that represent the events of Holy Thursday and Good Friday. Finally, egg 12 is empty; the emptiness symbolizes the Resurrection of Our Lord Jesus Christ. Each student was able to take his/her individual carton home to share Jesus’ journey with family and friends. The third graders loved guiding the kindergartners through this very meaningful ind interactive experience which has been a tradition at Nazareth School for many years!
