Blessed Sacrament School Will Open in August 2018 as St. Katharine Drexel Academy
Anne Egan, Principal
If you’ve driven by Blessed Sacrament School and Church recently, you’ve seen landscape upgrades, blue and white banners announcing the grand opening, and a new blue shade structure in the lunch yard along 56th Street. Blessed Sacrament School and Our Lady of Sacred Heart School are currently in process of merging to form one school, namely St. Katharine Drexel Academy. Both principals, Mr. Alfonso Magana at OLSH and Mrs. Anne Egan at BSPS are working in partnership to enroll students for the grand opening of St. Katharine Drexel Academy in August 2018.
All are invited to meet the principals, staff and family ambassadors at the March 18 Rolando Street Fair! Visit the St. Katharine Drexel Academy booth to learn about our amazing new school and what it has to offer prospective TK-Grade 8 students seeking a high quality academic learning environment within a family-oriented, neighborhood Catholic school setting. Our math and reading growth percentiles speak to the success of our safe and caring community with small class sizes and personalized learning programs. We are open for guided tours by appointment during the month of March. Call or email the school office to schedule your tour today! mainoffice@skda-sd.org (619) 582-3862
