What do you do to honor the Veterans in your Community?

Every year for the past five years, the students and faculty at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic School in Fallbrook honor the Veterans in our school community who have served or are currently serving in any branch of the U.S. military. Cards are sent out to each of our military parents, with a note from each class, along with the signatures of every student in the school. The cards are sent out a couple of days before Veteran’s Day each November, to remind our service men and women how much we appreciate their sacrifices. The responses from our Veteran parents are so positive and grateful for this small gesture from our students.
