St. Martin of Tours Academy Collects Halloween Candy for Casa de los Pobres

For over 20 years St. Martin of Tours Academy has been collecting Halloween candy & toothbrushes /toothpaste for the annual Christmas distribution at Casa de los Pobres in Tijuana. This year we asked students to bring in an extra bag or fill a quart size bag with candy and include a Christmas greeting in Spanish. Luis Delgado, an uncle to Declan Hunt (grade 5) drew Christmas cards for the children to color. Each quart sized bag received one of his drawings.

There was enough candy to fill 65 quart sized bags, plus 13 huge bags of candy, 20 bags of various amounts of toothbrushes and toothpaste.
